Mrs. Lewis has been working in East Aurora since 2007. 

Mrs. Lewis received her undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University in Computer Science with a minor in Math, History, and 18 hours in college level music classes. 

She received both her Masters of Arts in Teaching and her Educational Leadership Type 75 from Aurora University.

Over her career here in D131, Mrs. Lewis has been an adviser of Maker/Fix-it Club, Math Club, Yearbook Club, Chess Club, IMSA Fusion Coordinator and teacher, 21st Century STEM after school teacher, school Webmaster,  Percussion Sectionals Adviser, and an after school homework club teacher. 

Outside of school, Mrs. Lewis is married and has 4 children of her own. She serves as a parent volunteer for the Redeemer Fellowship youth group in St. Charles. She is a active member of the the KDP National Teacher Honor Society, ASCD (formerly the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development), as well as the Fox Valley Dog Training Club where she trains her two Golden Retrievers in obedience, rally, and confirmation.
